Week 9

Hello to everyone!

This week has been very heavy. I have been suffering from flu and on Thursday we had our first exam.

On Monday I was at home trying to heal from the flu so I wasn’t able to be present on the lecture. As lecturer on Monday the class had Ilpo Kärkkäinen from Resoundsound. He talked about blogging and introduced us to a tool called Google Trends.

We got as task to give feedback to Ilpos blog. The other task we got was to use Google Trends and come up with 3 themes for our partner company’s blog. This task we did with our team on Tuesday.  What I have liked about these past 2 weeks is that we have learnt to use new tools which I’m sure I will benefit from in the future.

I really want to say that I was positively surprised by the exam! The fact that the exam could be done at home, from your own computer was so awesome. I, for example, can concentrate better at home than in a full auditorium. Also this way of doing the exam was very suitable for this course! I liked it a lot!!

On Thursday after the exam we met with our team at school. The purpose of the meeting was to brainstorm how our partner company could reach new retailers. We used Post-it’s so that everyone had to write down at least 4 ideas.  Ideas came from side to side and some of them were very good! We will perform our ideas to the partner company on Thursday and I’m so excited!
