Week 8

Hi,
This week has been so good learning in mind.
On Monday we had two lecturers: Terhi Aho from TULOS and Joanna Purosto from MMA, which is a abbreviation of Myynnin ja Markkinoinnin Ammattilaiset. The Terhis lecture was about content strategy and search engine optimization (SEO). Search engine optimization was something I never had thought of before I started this school. I had never thought how important it really is for companies and how it works. This is also a very interesting topic.

On Thursday Ilkka Kurkela had a lecture to us. He is such a positive and inspiring person! He put us to think and do some small “exercises” under his lecture.  This was a new and fun way to develop our learning. It was amazing that Ilkka had this new tool called Periscope, witch is a video-based application so you can live stream lectures. Ilkka had about 70 persons following his lecture, I think that was awesome! Something that I will always remember from his lecture is this:

Another lecturer on Thursday was one of our coaches Bishnu Rana. The topic was Lead Nurturing witch means the process of building effective relationships with potential customers throughout the buying journey.

One of the greatest things I learn this week was to use a tool called Marketing grader. This tool was new to me and I’m sure I will use it and tell it forward.

Here is some of my favorite course mates blogs:

First one I chose is Lauras blog. Laura writes also an own blog about her life. She is so inspiring as a writer. In her blog about this digital business course you can see that she has experience of writing. In addition, her English language is very good! She also puts big photos with good quality, witch I like a lot!

Second one I chose is Essis blog. She uses wix as basis witch looks very good! I like that she doesn’t have that much pictures taken by her. Almost all her pictures are from the internet, witch makes the blog look nicer.
Her way to write is very good and it’s pleasant to read.

The third one I chose is Hannas blog.  The layout of the blog is amazing! It’s unbelievable to see how much time and effort she has put on her blog.
Her way to write is so funny! She writes first a sentence and after that she can write her real thoughts in parenthesis. I think it’s a funny way to write. She also uses emoticons when she writes and she is so good in English too! ( I’m jealous)

The fourth one I chose is Santeris blog. WAU! I have to say that I’m impressed! You can really see that this young man listens on the lectures, makes notes and write a few times a week! He also writes down his notes and his blog is kind of a place for him to make sure he will learn better. He also has a checklist, a remember things “list” and often a homework paragraph. What I miss in his blog is pictures. But I think that is better to put meaningful pictures than just something to fill up the page with!

And then last but not least Artsis blog. He writes very brief and tells what he has done but not that much about the lectures and what he has learned each week.  He has very little of pictures and the blogpost are not that long eather.

Have a good start on a new week!
